Glashütte Original presents new sustainable straps in orange and green

Just in time for the 2024 summer season, Glashütte Original is adding a splash of colour with its new watch straps. The textile straps in rich orange and green are not only characterised by their high quality and durability, they also demonstrate ecological awareness: The yarn from which they are made consists of 100% recycled fishing nets. They celebrate their premiere in the SeaQ family, whose models have made a name for themselves as mechanical outdoor specialists. Whether tone-on- tone with the bezel or as a lively contrast: this summer, real originals are wearing strong colours!

Intense colours and innovative material

The new straps in orange and green are secured on the wrist with a pin buckle or folding clasp as desired. Their strong shades can be combined in a variety of ways and set stylish accents: green, the colour of nature and life, has long since established itself as an ‘eternal’ classic on the fashion scene alongside black, grey and dark blue. Orange, on the other hand, is the trend colour of the summer, signalling freshness and self-confidence.

But the new textile straps can do more than just look good. They are made from an innovative yarn that consists of 100% recycled fishing nets. The tear-resistant fabric is not only environmentally friendly, breathable and quick-drying, but also made for use in the water in every respect. Thanks to the special double weave, the fabric guarantees maximum resilience while offering optimum comfort. The new duo perfectly complements the existing range: in addition to orange and green, the sustainable straps are also available in black, blue and grey.
